Copper Bridges

Easy course

Long spans between landings, and two descents that open up to three.

What it is

Copper Bridges is built around long spans: 30 jumps, the widest 4.1 cells of air, across a 91-cell course. It is the first map on the ladder where a gap is genuinely long rather than merely present, and the two descents in it open up to three-cell drops.

The route

Landings connected by spans, with two sections that descend rather than climb — unusual this early, and the reason the course nets only 3 cells of rise despite climbing 17. The descents are where speed comes from and where runs end: you arrive at the next span already moving, which is faster and less forgiving.

How to approach it

Do not brake on the descents. The spans after them are sized for the speed you arrive with, so slowing down makes the next gap harder rather than safer.

What it teaches: Long gaps, and carrying speed downhill into one.

How it compares to the rest of the ladder

Ranked against all 23 courses on the same measurements, this one holds one place:

  • the third-longest route on the ladder — 78 solver steps

Controls

What you need to start

MoveWASDArrow keys work too.
JumpSpace
Sprint / lock onShiftA latch, not a hold: tap once to arm sprint and a camera lock-on together, tap again to release both. Neither carries over into the next world you open.

Sprint is a latch rather than a hold — tap it once and it stays on. Every control, keyboard and touch, including respawn, restart and the camera keys, and all of them rebindable.

Other Easy courses

  • Beacon Climb — Four switchback flights to a lit tower. One jump, learned properly.
  • Spiral Yard — Two laps of a square helix. A quarter of the jumps are corners.
  • Sky Orchard — A weave with no straight section in it, through unreachable trees.
